Through lectures, demonstrations and real LIVE operatory examples, this 2 disc DVD set will present dental photography not just as a record of existing conditions or treatment completed, but as a communication tool with the patient, the lab, referral sources and for marketing. Photography is an art and photos in dentistry should follow art guidelines. The smile is used to sell in general marketing and expectations by patients and others are influenced by the advertising and photographic industry.
This program will demonstrate high quality dental photos meeting all dental and art guidelines. Technique and equipment are equally important. Which equipment, lighting and accessories give highest quality images with the least interference in a practice, including a simplified portrait system beyond the "mug shot" medical model will be indicated. Simplified management software to modify, correct and manage, and using photos to communicate using tablet PC and annotations on screen will be demonstrated and used. The 12 AACD views will also be presented and demonstrated in a real operatory setting.
